Thumbs up Price of TL-S wheels continue to drop.

Got a quote of $746.04 shipped from a Honda dealer. That's $186.51 per wheel. That's for brand spankin new genuine OEM rims. Pretty good. I remember when it was in the $2xx area.

I want to pick up a set but darn are they heavy. Argh.

Dude, here's a post I had in another thread:

Check out this item on Ebay (item # 110003690555). If you were to buy 4 wheels, even at the "Buy it now" price, it would come out to $165 per wheel (incl. shipping). You'll just need your existing Acura center caps to replace the Honda caps.

Its brand new !

K.

Yeah, I bought my wheels from Norm Reeves Honda, then had them installed at Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg (noticed you were from MD/DC). Mounting/balancing at $12 per wheel. In fact I had the wheels delivered directly to Rosenthal. Also got my tires at Rosenthal (Yokohama Avid V4s) since they were willing to match the price from Tires.com. Overall a good deal I thought.

You know, my TL needs some new rubber, but I was going to wait until Novemeber to get some wheels, but these might hold me off. Did you experience any difficulty price matching or getting them shipped directly to Rosenthal? I'm very interested in doing this...

No, no problem at all. Ask for Phil Fulker, the Parts Department Manager. However, one thing I was told by my service advisor was that they may charge a $20 handling fee if you have the wheels shipped to them - but they ended up not charging me for it.

If you guys are interested in the wheels, Phil also told me he was willing to sell me the wheels for $163 each, since I was a "regular" customer. I don't know if he would give you this price if you are not a regular customer, but its worth a shot - not everyone can win on E-bay ! I had already bought my wheels from E-Bay, so I couldn't take him up on his offer.
