Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S

Well, I just got these put on after reading a lot of good reviews. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I just drove home in the rain, and the traction wasn't as good as I expected. I had Pilot Sport PS/2's, so maybe that's why, but my bald PS/2's cornered better than the Neros. I should have paid the extra and went with Toyo T1-S.

should have gotten the Goodyear Eagle F1GS-D3. they are better than the toyos in the rain and dry and just as good as the pilot sport in the dry (alot better in the wet)

Best wet traction tire by far. Well there's always next time.

Well, I went with the pirellis to get better tread wear, and I heard they were fairly quiet. The good thing is that they start sliding very predictably. With my PS/2's, I was scared to push them to the limit, becuase they would just keep gripping.

Are you losing a lot of dry road adhesion and performance when you switch from the PS2 to P-zero M+S, because the PS2 is ranked among the top stickiest ultra-performance dry tires ?

Your statements about the Goodyears are well taken Kris. Agree to disagree..it's all cool with me. Personally, I found the Toyo T1-S quieter, providing a smoother ride, all without compromising wet traction and performance. Turn-in is not as responsive compared to the Goodyears, but at last check I'm not tracking the car so this feature is not as important as the others which the Toyo's excel in.
