No, it wasn't too bad at all. It was a little bit stiffer, but definitely in a good way. I loved the way it stayed flat when taking the corners instead of feeling like it could rollover with the stock springs. Very worthwhile mod in my opinion. Plus, it looks so much better.

fsttyms1,

I would have to disagree with you man, even though I agree with 99.9% of everything else you say

The ride is NOT OEM feel to me It is stiffer, but not to where it is annoying. The big difference that I noticed is that when you hit a dip, there is no bounce and when you hit joints in the road, it is a little jarring. But, I did drive a loaner 03 Type S about 3 months after I had my HR Sports put in and it rode much smoother than mine. I do like the sportier ride, but to say it's like OEM would be not be 100% accurate. It is up to the individual driver to make that call, and I'm just providing you with my If our cars didn't have such horrible fender gap, I would of never got them. So, I'd rather have a "sportier" ride than the fender gap!!

Well of course there is going to be some change. Especially over dips because there is less suspension travel. Different shocks alone can change that as well. (ive driven A TL with H&Rs back to back and for the most part it was identical to mine, but yes it was sportier for the fact there was less suspension roll. Is it 100% like the oem, NO and i never said that. just said that it was like oem meaning its not jarring and harsh. Now if you have 18's and 19's yes that will make it jarring and harsh over expansion joints and holes. That will happen even with stock suspension.
Most dont complain about it being harsh or any thing. I know i wouldn't classify it as

^^^^^^^^^^^I think we are saying the same thing man, I just want him to understand that he will notice a difference and not to expect that the only difference will just be reduced fender gaps and better cornering. I think my struts are nearing EOL (End of Life) and I'm noticing my ride becoming less comfortable. Time for the Bilstein struts. This winter and the ruts and potholes have taken it's toll on my car here in Colorado..sigh.

^^^^^^That's what I'm talkin bout!!...you gotta let us know how it is. I got 1/2 that combo now..I think the Bilsteins will enhance my suspension much better than the stock struts.

Bilsteins are the best out there. UIve had them in the past and they are great. They made the biggest difference ive seen on my trucks. They really smoothed the ride and made it alot more compliant

well guys
this afternoon i installed my bilstiens and my h&r sports.
i gotta tell you...
the ride is really smooth and the car does not bounce as much.
handling is very good and you can just feel the cars control when you are driving at fast speeds.
