Need a recommendation for 18" wheels, tires and a mild drop combination

Good evening all!

I am wanting to finally put a mild drop and some 18's on my '03 TL-S. I am hoping to find a combination that works as a straight bolt, I really don't want to worry about spacers, rubbing, tucking or any of that. I know there are lots of combinations that accomplish that, so I was hoping some of you all could help me out.

I am just looking for a mild drop, maybe an inch or so. This car is my DD, I just want to "sport" up the ride some, not make it ride on rails. I have used a one piece coilover from HFP on my last Civic, that was a really good combination, cost effective also. If anyone could recommend something like that it would be great, I dont need it to be adjustable.

For wheels and tires I am not looking for anything really expensive, probably a cheaper wheel, maybe Rota's, and some good summer tires and I will keep my stocks for winter. I just really need to know what size wheels and offset, what size tires will work with the drop.

Thanks for the help, Giff

18" wheels ...

i have bought ADR rims the last 2 summers. Their kinda of on the cheaper side but they make some nice lookin wheels. I think the wheels themselves cost me about $450 but then add tires, valvesstems, lugnuts, installation. by the time it was all said and done I paid about $1100.

My 01 on 18s with 45 offset, 235-40s required some modding in the rear fender for clearance. 225s will go inside no prob according to other members
For the price of tein basic coilovers- spend a few hundred more and get the SS adjustables- makes a huge differance, and yes my TL is wife driven too
The General Exclaim tires are a bargain price major performer
