my 1st report on the Sumitomo HTR+
had them on about 1000 miles and today is the 1st snow fall of the year
installed them about a month ago and found a dramatic difference right away with the new tires
they are very very sticky and grippy. not to mention the steering response is faster, but the steering feel is loosen a bit
in dry i pushed them hard and never squeek at all and all 4 wheels grip so well
in wet it performs well too, tried some hard stops and it didn't slip at all
i keep my tire pressure at 35psi and they feel gd
today has about 4-5 inches of snow and i drove on them without a problem, seeing some BMW M3 down the road driving slowly without much traction
in snow the tires are ok, on par with the 16" Michelin MXV4, but the tail swing a little bit while i was turning in a parking lot, which i don't get used to with the michelins
overall these are great tires and they are gd enough to drive in snow. i am impressed with the performance. price is unbeatable at 375 shipped from tirerack.
although they don't last really long but they are Ultra High Performance all season so you are more into performance than long lasting.
defintely worth to buy if you are into performance and want all season tires
