Moda R6 vs. OEM CL-S

There is a set of 18" Moda R6s that have piqued my interested. What quality are Moda rims? Are they better, equal, or less than OEM CL-S rims?

Here's a pic of them on a TSX:

I'm not sure if anyone has had them on a 2G before...

I honestly think they look great.

My buddy Lloyd has them on his CL.

Check out Acurage7o3's car for pics.

Man, this kinda sucks...I keep on reading that they are pretty soft and prone to bending. And that they are HEAVY. I think I may pass on them...

almost all wheels are heavy, and most wheels are easy to bend, multipiece/and or forged tend to be a a bit stronger, mostly it comes to the driver.. get them in 19

I'm thinking to replace my CL-S rims with these if they are of comparable strength, and then get a set of (hopefully) forged rims next year. But I read on some other forum that a 19" rim plus tire was ~60 lbs. per wheel!!! While a stock 17" plus tire was ~40 lbs.

LOL nope, I'm definitely not a racer. But with gas prices... Someone is selling a used set of 18x8s with tires (which I have to replace) for $500. One rim has a bend, and a couple have curb rash. I don't know if it is worth the hassle.
