Lowering

well, recently I've fount out my struts were leaking and I took the chance to decide to lower my car, I've heard a lot of mixed suggestions about lowering

many say that I should go for coilovers and many say that shocks and springs will do me just as well

right now I'm stuck between
f&f 2's with eibach's or eibachs with Koni springs

if anyone has suggestions please lmk

apparently konis has lifetime warranty......lol

Lowering all depends on what you are looking for. If its just to close the wheel well gap (about 2 inches) while gaining performance and ride, Koni shocks and H&R sports would be the way to go. If you are looking to really drop it then coilovers are needed. I personally have the Koni and H&R and love them. Rides better than stock and handling performance is much better. I have had them on for nearing 200k now with zero change in ride.

In my opinion I would go with the coilovers because of all the different adjustments you can do. When I first lowered my car I just bought tein s-tech springs which compared to stock were great but the only problem was the car didnt sit flat. The front wheel well was gapped more than the back. I actually just put on my coilovers this past saturday and the difference is crazy. I'm able to adjust just about anything I want which is great. Theres of course the adjustable ride height and then the adjustable dampening system which is a big plus. I definitely regret spending the money on the lowering springs instead of just purchasing the coilovers in the first place.
