Koni Struts With Stock Springs
I've been thinking about replacing the struts but keeping everything else stock. I don't want a lower ride and I don't race. Just want things firmed up and I have read the Koni SP is a good choice. Anyone have comments on this set-up?

Koni Sport Yellow?
Either way, anything Koni is quality. You can't go wrong. Bilstein is another good option.
I read you don't want to, but you wont be disapointed if you lower it too. Handling is improved a lot. H&R provides some springs with mild drops.

Thanks for the input. I have the yellow Konis on my Subaru but with that car I did not have a choice. I probably would go for the sport option if more than one Koni is available.

You can drop the perch on the konis with the stock spring and get a very subtle drop (20mm) which wouldnt be a bad idea. Either way it will ride great. Koni makes one of the best shocks out there.

Rice Patrol
get the koni!
just replaced them on mine and that mated to HR race has VASTLY improved my car!
it's the best thing you can do to your car that doesn't involve seafoaming or supercharging.
and everyone is right if you get the nominal HR Sport (not SS or Race) they only drop about an inch which is marginal at best and will really help. they are much much MUCH softer springs than stock and the tightness while turning will be felt through your entire body
