Jaz Trinity on an 03 Acura?

I am thinking about purchasing a set of the Jaz Trinity wheels in the 19 x 8.5 size with a 45 offset. I have looked through many of the threads and plan on cutting tabs and possibly rolling my fenders if needed. Does anybody know if these wheels will still give me trouble? What tire size should I go with on this setup? I am lowered on H&R sports. Thanks for our help.

You may have to roll fenders for that but they shouldn't give you any trouble. Run 225/35/19. Now do it!

Will 235/35/19 give me trouble? From what I understand this is the recommended tire size for these wheels.

225s or 235s will fit. it'll only rub if you are dropped or planning on dropping it at which pt you need to cut tabs and roll/cut fenders. and they will look siiiccck!!!! (boku's https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...95&postcount=1)

i had 225s

What would you go for Kiran, 225 or 235? 235 will probably rub more huh?

A friend of mine with an 03 Accord V6 coupe just got some 19x8.5s on with Tein Basics, (225 tire) and if he would have gone with a 235, it would not have fit. The 225 fits the 8.5 wheel just fine, just allows for more clearance if you are dropped.

naw man, 19x8 on mine with 45 offset rubbed on my urethane, so I trimmed my fender tabs back and it took care of it.. I think you would rub on the metal fender unless you rolled them

when i first got my 19x8 (45 offset), I parked at an angle at the bottom of my driveway to contort my suspension and measured my clearance..i had about an 1/8 inch of clearance with my tire and the metal fender edge. I'm dropped on HR SPorts by the way. I think rolling the fenders may buy you an extra 1/2" or so, maybe more..dunno, but just wanted to share with you just how close my 235 tires get to my fender with that combo. 225 will probably help you clear depending on your drop.

Well, it turns out the wheels were Axis Milanos instead. I bought two of them for $150 which is a great deal since these are in mint condition. I know they are discontinued so now I am looking for two more. Any recommendations? I was thinking I can get two of the Jaz Trinity but the Trinity has more rivets. What do you guys think?

I think you should have bought 4 of one thing. Good luck finding 2 more Milanos, you will wish you would not have just bought 2.

Tell me about it. I thought they were Jaz Trinitys but then I noticed the rivets after I bought them. Oh well, it's only $150. Hopefully I find a pair.

Maybe you can rock the flip flop look, Milanos on one side and two different wheels, same sizes, on the other side. If you're into that sort of thing. Anyways good luck.

To tell you the truth I really thought about doing that then I figured I should really look around for a pair of Milanos. Anybody know where i can find some? I've already searched the blackmarket, ebay, and craigslist. If worst comes to worst i will just buy a complete set of something else.

Thanks Kiran, I'll give it a try. You can find them all over the net but when I call about them they tell me they have been discontinued for a while. I don't know why they don't update their websites. If anybody comes across some please let me know. I will hook up a finders fee

It sure is great. Believe me I am checking everywhere I can to find these wheels. I think I joined 3 other forums just to ask around for the wheels!

Yup same offset and size. If I can't find the fourth I am thinking about the MRR H2 in the same size. I really like those as well. There's something about the five star style that I like with the TL.

Ok guys. So I decided to go a different route and go with my first love, the MRR HR2. I ordered these today because I figured even if I do get the fourth Milano if I wreck one it will be a pain in the ass to find another replacement. I'm gonna be running these on the Falcon FK452 (225/35/19). I heard this tire was pretty good. Anybody on here running these wheels?

I know what you mean but I drive the same streets as you Kiran. You know how bad our area is and with a low pro tire you are sure to bend at some point.

yeah drive gingerly lol plus if its a wider wheel i think you'll find it very hard to bend the entire rim (maybe a lip here and there but they can be machined out)

OK guys so I ordered the HR2 from element wheels and thought I was all good. I get a call within 30 minutes and they tell me they only have two with the 45 offset! To top that off MRR will not have these available for another 2 months. Why me? I finally said fuk it and went with the Axis Hiro. Just got them today I will post pics once I get them installed.

let me know what you think. I went with 19 x 8.5 with 225/35/19 tires. i did not have the roll the fenders since I am only on H&R sports. Still a lot of wheel gap so either I will drop it more or just get a 40 series tire next time, especially in the rear.
