Ideal tire size,need help!!!!!!
Ok, I've decided on some rims. I am getting rims that are 19x7.5 42offset, before anyone says anything....yes I know that's a low offset. Here's the thing, I'M NOT LOWERING MY CAR!!!! I use to be Vice President of a car club years ago and had my ricer all tricked out. I will NEVER lower a car again. I think the car deteriated down hill after I lower my last car. So I don't care how much my car looks like a 4 wheel drive. Have you seen a DONK or a BUBBLE? They have friggin lift kits with 28's on them. lol Anyway, my question here is what tire size would be ideal for the rims I am going with? 225 35 19 or 215 35 19, or what? Thanks and Merry Christmas!!!

You can get the H&R OE drop, its a very subtle less than a inch drop) and it wont make the car ride worse or make things wear out. It will ride just like factory but will help keep the car from looking funny

Maybe I will consider that, but if it means having to get a camber kit and all that b.s. again, I won't do it! Everything seemed to go downhill last time I lowered a car and that was only with 1.5" drop on an Eclipse + camber kit.

I would go with the 225's for the extra rubber. I got my wheels on right now and no drop, they are 19x8 +48 offset with 225/35/19 and still managed to slightly bend both back wheels. I'm not sure how the 225's would work with a 42 offset though.
