Hub Centerbore help!

So Im getting these wheels that either come in 73.1 or 56.1 hub centerbore

I know that our TLs need 64.1

So which one should I get? The one that would be easier to convert with an adapter to fit a 64.1 centerbore, 73.1 or 56.1?

IMO, get 73. At least you can still test mount it to your car without the adapter. with 56, you can't. But, it is a good idea to look for the adapters first before purchasing the wheels.

as long as you use the correct hubcentric centering rings you are fine
The wheel has to be the larger size
Get them Hunter Road Force balanced for best results with larger tires-rims
It can even tell you where to run each tire on the car !

Note- tire shops tend to forget to put the rings back on after a balance and rotate job
Always be sure the tech knows of the rings- (paint them a bright color) and watch them get put back on EACH rim- most click into place on the rim.

Also make sure the wheels are tightened BY HAND in 3 segments of torque
The rings need to sit flat on the hub and the wheel depends on them to be dead center on the hub
Even torque at the correct pressure of 80 foot lbs on the lugs, will save your rims and rotors-lug studs and more from expensive damage

+1. You can go from larger to smaller, but not smaller to larger when talking about centerbore. You don't want to bore out rims.

One more question actually,

does a CB of 73 fit our cars with the hub adaptor? or should I get the 73.1 wheel? There are basically two choices: 73.1 or 73.
