hr soprt springs part number

i have a 2000 acura tl(non type s). i have looked for springs for a while and decided to go with hr sport springs. i have seen two part numbers one for 99-01 which is 51858, and one for 02-03 which is 50103. i have had people tell me to get the 50103 ones but will they fit on my 2000.

yes the 50103's are made for the tl's

the 51858 is made for the accord v6's

the 50103's have the same fronts as the 51858 but the backs are a little stiffer for the tl.

ppl with the 51858's had some sagging problems with heavy systems and stuff.

it really doesn't matter too much but get what ever you can get the best deal on. you won't be dissapointed either way.

Correction, they used the OE rear springs in the 50103 for a lesser drop. It was a hybrid kit, a quick fix. Then eventually they made new rear springs specifically for 50103.

If you were like me, and got one of the first 50103 kits, then you got front Sport springs (blue) with rear OE springs (grey).

umm i brought a set of H&R spring from a guy.. he told me that at the first time he got a kit (sport front (blue) and rear Oe (grey) ) and he returned it because he wanted her kit to be all the same color .. so they returned it a kit (all blue) with the mark 51858 on it .. the one i have now .. they give me 2 finger gap all around.. i think is the same as the kit (sport and oe..)

Do you think this kit is to high in the back ? i feel my car really heavy from the front end (i have koni yellow and H&R) .. and how does it drive compared to tein SS ? ill maybe change it someday..
