How can I tell which springs are for the front and rear??

How can I tell which springs are for the front and rear??
I'm putting springs on and I'm not sure which ones go where.
How can I tell the difference.

I have some were the coils are spaced a good amount more then the other 2
The other 2 are coils there are closer together. I'm assuming the one with the closer coils is for the front and the springs with the coils more spread apart are for the rear.

The bigger springs are for the rears and the smaller ones are for the fronts.
