I've heard these guys are pretty good but you could probably find somewhere closer to you. If you get them rechromed I wouldn't pay over 150 a rim plus shipping. Powdercoating should be cheaper.

You'll pay more than $150 a rim for a quality strip and rechrome job. Probably more like $200.

If you are in NY, check out www.wheelcollision.com They are in PA. Excellent work. They do rim repair, and pretty much every finish. However they have to send their wheels out to Cali to be rechomed.

I just used them a month ago. Beautiful work.

Keep in mind though, if they're bent, there will be a charge for that too.

I paid $1000 to repair and polish 4 Racing Hart C2s (three-piece wheels) just to give you a gauge.

Yeah I bent two of my SSR's and they actually were able to straighten them with very minimal damage to the finish, so I didn't have to get them striped and rechromed. That's how good they are.

Not sure about that. You need to research what's involved in chroming wheels. I believe the original finish of the wheel is etched to bond with the metals that make the chrome finish (nickel?)
