Help with wheel fitment.

I have a 2003 TL-S and I am looking at some wheels that are 19x8.5 and come with a +45 offset. I have seen a few owners on A-TL and A-CL who have 19x8.5" wheels with a +45 offeset and running 225/35/19 tires. What is needed to be done in order to accomplish this? Can the car still be lowered and driven daily?

19 x 8.5 wheels are a little big. If you plan on lowering, more than likely you will have some rubbing issues. You'll probably have to at least cut the tabs and possibly roll the fenders.
