Help, which camber kit do I need?

Okay, when I lowered my car last summer I had the inner toe of my two front tires worn with camber wear.

Here is what it look like:

So I need the front camber kit, which part would I need to fix this?

here are the two choices:

SPC Front Camber Kit Part # 67125 - $150 shipped
Adjustment range: -1.50° to +1.50°
Applications for Part # 67125
- Acura: 96-03 CL, 96 - 05 TL, 04-05 TSX
- Honda: 98 - 05 Accord

SPC Front Camber Kit Part #67320 - $160 shipped
Adjustment range: +1.50° to +3.0°
Applications for Part # 67320
- Acura: 96-03 CL, 96 - 05 TL, 04-05 TSX
& nbsp; - Honda: 98 - 05 Accord

Would Ingalls front ball joint be a better choice?

I would think the first one because u can go neg and pos. The second one u can only adjust pos.

I RECOMMEND INGALLS!!!

I have the rears, I don't require them for the front. I like Ingalls because I got to deal with them in person in Colorado when we discovered that some 03 TLs require the 02 camber arms! Sounds crazy but it is true. My car was made in Dec 02, but is an 03 model. I needed part 38720 but the 03's require 38725, so they thought. But either way, they gave me new arms right there from the warehouse and made the changes on their site. My rear arms have been installed for about a year now, maybe a little longer and no more camber issues!

So, for the front, I still think Ingalls is a good choice. Good luck either way.

get the current camber readings- that directly affects which part you need-
then call excelerate and tell him what the readings are and he sends the right parts

volly get the readings, and check with acurawoodbine for the camber kits...but excelerate may be cheaper for us, acurawoodbine wanted 240 for a set of rear arms (spc) for us...i spoke with like 3 reps, and that was the cheapest, its bullshit

Ok, did you have an alignment done after lowering it?

I'm 99.9% sure you'll need Part # 67125. The only difference between the two part #'s are the adjustment degree's. I'm slammed on Ksports, and my fronts are only off by -0.3 and -0.4, and I doubt any lowering springs go as low as what my front heights are atm.

.. forgot to mention toe-wear is most likely from not getting an alignment check+adjustment after you lowered your car.

Looking at the pictures of the unevenly worn front tire, it indicates that the front suspension already has too much negative camber angle. So you don't want any more negative angle adjustment. You will want to buy the camber kit with lots of positive angle adjustment.

In order to determine which adjustable ball joint you need you really need to get an alignment to see how far you are off. However, Ingalls does give you an outline for what would work.

Just a side note, the SPC and Ingalls front kit is virtually the same. The Ingalls rear kit is much better though b/c it allows you to adjust camber and toe.

Acceptable camber with toe misalignment will cause the shoulder wear your pictures indicate. If the toe is correct it will take a lot of neg.camber to do this. Most people here seem to agree that -1 is no big deal. I think you should get the rear kit because the rears tend to end up at -2 or more degrees. The reason I think you should do rears before you have the alignment checked is that you can then have it aligned without making two trips [assuming the front comes in at about -1]. I'm not a fan of the front adjustable ball joints unless you really need one. I had to have mine "perfect" so I put them on. They raise the outer end of the control arm about 1" which hit the body over big bumps. They only lasted 30k. If you are determined to get them, consider that spc manufactures the part for ingalls. Ingalls warranty is 1 year, spc's is lifetime. Yeah, I'm happily running moog ball joints because I was out of warranty, and I can't find the perfectly good oe parts I took off.
