HELP: Alignment and Ingalls Camber Control Arm
Hello Everyone,
I need assistance ... put new wheels on my ride (previously lowered by TIENs on OE wheel - on edge of requiring front camber kit). The new wheels increased the wheel well gap and thus will be lowering further all around. There is already an Ingalls camber kit on rear. The two Ingalls Front control arm kits with rubber bushings are available in 2 versions: +1 to +4 degrees
-2 to +1.75 degrees.
The question is which kit to get?? ... I want to avoid getting an alignment and then ordering kit and coming back to shop for alignment.
As i understand it ... the more I lower it the more negative camber Im likely to get. I have included the previous alignment numbers for those that can understand them ( I certainly don't). Note: When removing the previous tires we noticed heavy wear on the inside edge of the front tires.
FRONT LEFT / FRONT RIGHT
CAMBER: -0.6 / -0.6
CASTER: 1.8 / 2.6
TOE: -0.02 / 0.01
SAI: 8.3 / 8.3
Includ. Angle: 7.6 / 7.7
CROSS CAMBER: 0.0
CROSS CASTER: -0.8
CROSS TOE: -0.01
CROSS SAI: -0.1

How much lower do you plan on going? With -.6 camber right now you'd want the one that does -2 to +1.75, and that will probably still be true unless you plan on dumping the car.
I'd think you should really only need the +1 to +4 if you are slammed.
And -.6 camber is actually fine and you should not really be experiencing any bad tire wear. I'm at -.9 and -1.1 and its fine. Factory spec limit is -1.0. I'll be getting the Ingalls arms soon to replace worn ball joints.

Not much lower - aproximately 1/2 inch +/- .25 of inch at most. That said I did order the kit you suggested and it turned out my "green rings" on my TIEN SS where siezed - LOL. So the kit is on, alignment done but not further lowered. Will order new rings this winter.
