Hello, I’m hoping someone from the Tl community will tell me what I want to hear or enlighten me to why this won’t work. I just purchased an 01 CL-S and I want to fit it with H&R coils. H&R have discontinued the coil for this model and I cant find any old stock. I have found a sale on H&R 51858-55 which are specified for the 98-02 accord and 99-03 TL. I reached out to a sales rep at H&R and he said,

“we have never tested these 51858-55OE Sport springs on the CL model. If we had verification of the fitment or results, it would still apply to the list of models on our current catalog. Due to that factor alone; it’s a pretty safe assumption those wont work on your car, unfortunately..”

Not what I wanted to hear… but can someone tell me why these wouldn’t work? The CL and TL, while not the same car, are pretty freakin close and pending on trim levels, really close in weight… a fat driver in a cl and a skinny driver in a tl could end up at the same number. I’m new to the mod game so is there something I’m not considering?
