Got new wheels...sort of

LONG STORY SHORT: i ordered a set of Redline RD144 because they looked like the Varrstoen's...unfortunately, i received them today and i got the wrong color. i was supposed to get the machined face like the varrstoen, but i was sent gunmetal. now i'm stuck between keeping these or sending them back. which do you guys think will look better on my color...

here's a pic of what they're SUPPOSE to look like with machine face.

They both look nice. I say keep because it works well with the gold.

I say keep them, think it goes with the gold better imo.
How much were those anyways? Always been a fan of Redline wheels ever since my bro had some 10 inch wide ones on his 240z lol

I would return them. The one in the picture in the first post looks way better, especially with only 5 holes for lug nuts.

I like the hyper silver or machined ones better on gold cars

Test fit that bish.

IMO the gunmetal actually looks better since it's more of a subtle color, the machined face sticks out too much for me.

Yeah, I prefer the "5 hole" vs: the "unilug". However given a choice of color, the "gunmetal" is a very nice accent for the polished offset lip. So, the bottom line is your personal preference.....along with the big hassle involved in gaining satisfaction. Go with the gut, as it's your ride and hard earned money !

They don't look bad at all. Definitely better than the XXR's. But I still like the ones in the first post best.

Wow... You blew money on replicas, but ended up getting the real deal. Ditch your replica kit and get the real one. -_-

Don't even worry about it, even in Japan they use XXR's. People hear issues, and have shown the proof, but that's like 1 fail in how many sets?
