Good combo for 255/35/18 tires without rolling fenders

I just tested out a pair of Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires in 255/35/18 size with a pair of Enkei TY-5 18x8.5 +50mm offset. It fits great with no rubbing, and it doesn't even require fender rolling. Here's a picture:

I finally have enough grip to use 2nd gear again! I was kind of surprised that it fit so well without any fender modification. I'd recommend this setup for anyone who needs wider tires.

Nice set-up!
ExtremeContact Sport tires will be my next set from Discount Tire, IIRC, HQ'd right there in AZ somewhere.:)

Shipping and sales tax savings to my state will pay for mount/balance.

Hopefully, if I can find them cheaper somewhere else, they even offer a price match.:thumbsup:

Would changing to 9" rim change the offset? Would i need to subtract half the .5" from the offset?
.5" = 12.7mm ÷ 2 = 6.35mm.
If thats correct then a 9" rim with +44 would fit like this?
