Good All-Season Tires for the occasional track day
I did my first trackday with my TL-S and man, I'm hooked! I had lots of fun, gunning it, rounding corners, chicanes and eating up Hondas and even catching up to a Skyline.
The plan is to do a track day about 3 times a year or to what my budget allows. New tires are needed now because I was sliding around and my instructor even said that the Dunlops suck. A dedicated track or summer tire would be best, but its just not in the budget. I need an all-season cuz we get lots of rain here in Vancouver and the occasional light snow. Thanks guys!

Track day is going to eat up tires. ( i know)
Now as for tires, i would go with something like the falken, pzero nero, or pilot sport A/S.
It will get expensive though, and your best bet will get a 2nd set of tires that you can run only at teh track. Plus once you really get into it you will want better handeling which is something a All Season cant give you

fsttyms1,
I was hoping that you would reply cuz you've seem to have done it all from what you can do with your car to what you've done to your car. I think that that will be the way to go with another set of rims and tires, but we have a bun in the oven so gotta watch the dollars. Maybe next year. Are the brands you listed available in the size needed for the stock TL-S rims?

I suggest you go with some el-cheapo all-season tires, rather than premium all-seasons like the expensive Pilot Sports A/S, because even if track days wear out your tires, it won't hurt as much to replace them frequently.
