Eibach Drop settled in, need advice
front = 2 finger gap
rear = 1 finger gap!
Front is perfect, rear seems too low. Should I stagger the tires (less diameter) to balance or is there a better way of lifting the rear an inch?
Or does it look fine?

eibach pro kit: 4041.140
no dampers
before that I had OEM springs and the tire gap was 4-fingers all around. looked even. the Eibachs have been on for three weeks.
my honda tech installed them. but he said they didn't seat well, he had to force them. anyone else have this trouble?
the trunk is empty.

I measured the ride-height from the side lip and it's even ride-height all around. I thought the Eibach's lowered the front more... strange.
The fronts are definitely on the front. perhaps they take longer to settle than the rears?

I wonder what's causing the 2-finger gap up front? When I look at the closeups I posted, it looks like the fronts are too stiff and the backs are too soft.
factory differences? defective fronts?
the ride is actually pretty smooth. and I'm going to be very upset if I buy new struts only to still sag in the back.

I have the same concern. I was thinking of putting back the original OEM bushings instead of the Eibach bushing that came with the kit. However and more importantly, are any of you hearing a slapping sound from the rear shocks when going over sharp crack, bumps on the road? Going over speed bumps sound fine, but dealing with small sharp crack (2 inches deep) on the road create a slapping sound. The suspension has been torqued twice and while sitting flat on the ground. My car has 28,000 miles and I think is a little early for shocks, plus while riding on the OEM spring I did not have an issue. Any thoughts? I really want to fix the car this coming weekend
Thanks

sounds like Eibach's are inconsistent.

Koni springs are the best way to go if you want to spend a little more money. (The koni yellow has 2 and the koni neuspeed sp3 has 5 or 7) They have different perches for the springs to sit on to adjust height. Once lowered you really should get rid of the OEM shocks, especially if you have more than 50k on them.

dumb question, but say I get the koni yellows and keep my eibach prokit, I could--in theory--drop only the front 20mm to match the sagging back*?
(* If the back still sag after the Koni Yellows are put on.)

says on koni website that the alternate perch (yellows) will drop the car 20mm.

Called Eibach tech support and got some good info. The spring come with a clear sleeve intended to avoid contact between the coils. As we (Eibach and I) come to find out, mine were shipped with the sleeve starting at the 3rd coil. The sleeve is supposed to start at the second coil in order to be silent during compression. I slid the sleeve by hand starting at the second coil and Magic! the sound is now gone. Regarding the rear height, I was able to bring the rear end up a 1/4 inch to give it a more balance look by using the original stop and cutting it a 1/2 inch longer than the one provided in the kit.
I will post pictures soon.

good to hear you stopped that sound!
I've seen the light and my new strategy is to lower the front instead of lift the back. even with the springs compressed, my back never rubs.

Guys,
After installing the Eibach Pro Spring kit the tires toe and camber really looked off, not to mention the immediate loss of gas mileage and funny handling (dogging look/going a little sideways). Installed the Ingalls kit and had the car aligned afterwards. The car now feels and looks back to original, but lowered. See the after pics at my gallery.

Why would you replace the springs but not the struts/shocks?
Struts/shocks go bad all 4 of mine were blown..
why pay to do the job twice?

all drop springs i have seen lowers the rear more than the front to create a perfectly balanced vehicle 50/50 distribution or as close to it as possible. That looks is actually the way to make the vehicle handle best.

The reason it looks tht way is because the rear fenderwells are not cut as high as the front
