Dont want my rims stolen.

Ok so need some advice on what to get. Im looking to get some wheel locks and dont know if i should get acura locks or go real expensive and get The Dency 2000 Wheel Nuts by KYO-EI. I live in the bronx, NY and i park my car on the street.parking lots around here is 200 a month, plus already got an 08' civic SI in the lot, leave that on the street and they'll really tear it up. Anyways back to my car i got the stock rims on my 08' TL-S and been getting more and more paranoid on my rims. My moms 09' honda accord was left on milk crates for gods sake they could have put some donuts on it rat bastards. Well yeah so i was thinking if i go acura locks im putting on like 3 sets f*ck that, im gonna give them a hard time if they wants these rims. The dency 2000 go for like 150-180 pretty pricey but if its worth it ill do it. advice plz hopefully fellow new yorkers or ppl who live in areas like NYC where the theives are ruthless taking rims from grandmothers.

Sorry to tell you that if thieves want your rims, they will succeed; unless you hire a guard to watch your car 24/7.

It really doesn't matter how many different sets of wheel locks you put onto your wheels, the pros will still be able to remove them. Thieves don't need keys. They have special "tools" to remove wheel locks.

^ exactly.

if they want it, they'll take it.. wheel locks only act to slow them down really...

i broke my wheel lock key once.. all i had to do was get a socket and a mallet.. hammered that socket on there and off it comes..

"wheel locks"...false security.

experienced thieves will get your wheels one way or another. sorry...

if it were me, i'd be investing in an alarm with tilt/proximity sensors.
