Decisions on coilovers or a strut spring combo..

So i have been doing my research on multiple brands of both coilovers and lowering spring/struts. I guess i will be asking a repetitive question of what do you prefer? Suggestions? The form and function type 2 looked very appealing to me. so if anyone could give me some insight on previous experience that would be great!

Yeah, just do some more "Searching" on this subject.....as there is tons of info on it.
At the end of the day, it depends on your budget and the ultimate desired outcome, IMO.

around the 900 range is what i would like to spend, im running an 18x8 rim with a +45 offset, so im obviously going to have to cut some tabs and roll my fenders.. im not looking to be slammed but just flush with maybe a finger width of gap on my fenders. i really could only find one thread with peoples opinions on them for the 2g tl..

I'm running Tein SS's on my 00 TL. 19x8 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Fenders rolled and slightly pulled, with stretched tires in the rear. Pretty decent size drop, but its all about ride quality. The Tein SS really feels good, takes dips well, and absorbs a lot of bumps. The F&F type 2 is too stiff for me.

If you want a finger gap, don't bother with F2's, those were meant to put the car on the ground. Why spend the money if you're not going to use it's proper function? Go for teins since you probably want that comfortability. IMO, F2's are not stiff enough.
