Daily Driver 2000 TL - Original Front Suspension
My 2000 TL with 172,000 miles has the completely original front suspension, and I am starting to bottom out off the small lip of my driveway. It's primarily the driver side front that feels completely worn out while I'm driving, but this is one particular area of the car that I know nothing about.
Can I simply replace the shocks and improve the ride? What are the pros/cons of my options.
Is there anyone in Atlanta that would like to do this work, or recommend someone reasonable to do this for me?
Thank you,
Randy

Yep, sounds like your shocks are blown. Just replace them and you'll be good to go.
Look into KYB GR-2 shocks, they're not expensive and a great OEM replacement.
If you want to try to tackle the replacement yourself, there is a DIY in the DIY thread. The fronts are easier than the rear because you don't have to remove the seats and more room to work in the front wheel wells.

All you need to do is just replace the shocks. (which should have probably been done a long time ago)
