CV Joint, Ball Joints.. U got info?

Okay so I did some research and I'm pretty sure I need to change my CV joints and probably my upper and lower ball joints. I got about 168xxx and never had this done. So its prob a safe bet to do. So the thing is that I never done this before. Dont really know what im doing but I have a shop that I can go to and put it on a lift. They might have a press for the ball joints. So what am I looking at as far as difficulty level and time.

It's not that hard, it took me about 1 hour to do each side. You need the necessary tools to do it though, if you don't, you're gonna have a hard time.

If there is nothing wrong with the CV joints leave them If the boots arent torn or there isnt play or noise coming from them they are fine.

As for ball joints nothing special is needed other than a press to press them out and in. Also check for play, if none leave them

^ Is there a certain direction to push to check for play in the ball joints? And is there a mileage when they normally go bad?
