Post Coilovers | Brands-Models

So Im looking over my options for a new setup, my F&F Type 1's are pissing me off, they are way to soft... I need stiffer coilovers so I can run flush without fucking my car n also because the F&F are super bouncy

Can anyone throw a list together of all the coilovers that fit our cars?

F&F Type 2, KSport, BC

all those will give you adjustable damping

I've heard good things about the tein advance coils also the function form type 2's have way more adjustments for the stiffness, Im looking into the type 2s if anyone knows a good spot to purchase from? Only thing about the teins is your car won't be able to go as low as functions. Hope this helps bro.

I wouldn't go Tein. they don't have any coils that adjust height via the lower shock body leaving the spring preload the same throughout every height.

he's going for slam.. Tein lowers by spring height.. slammed with those kind of coils results in shittier ride quality than F&F Type-I

They all share from 98-02 Accord with 99-03 TL

Megan Racing EZ Streets
Megan Racing Streets
Ksport Kontrol Pro
F&F Type-I
F&F Type-II
F&F Type-II.5
BC Racing BR Type
D2 Racing RS
ISC Suspension
Fortune Auto 500

OP, if you are low as it looks in your photo.. your upper control arms are probably hitting your strut tower bases resulting in less suspension travel...

I wish H&R had a coilover that fit our cars. I might actually go back to a coilover if they did.

Thanks guys! And JJ I went to Les schwab which was a terrible idea because they are a bunch of fuck tards that know nothing... They installed a camber kit that doesn't fit correctly and the balljoint on the new camber kit is bigger than the factory one so it does slap the top of the strut tower, Im taking the camber kit off, but that is one of the reasons I wanted stiffer suspension... But all the brands you listed should work? Because I heard somewhere you cant put F&F type 2 on our cars? But idk?

All in all what would you guys recommend on the coilovers, I just need some that I can go as low as the F&F but also be super stiff. Thank you guys though

i think ingalls make upper camber arms that should be similar size to OEM..

as for suspension... you can always order your coilovers with custom spring rates if you REALLY need stiffer

BC Racing, Megan, F&F and etc etc all offer other springs

or you can order just any of those above and get SWIFT springs.. oh-hoho.

I'd recommend AMR if you wanna slam them and keep your ride descent.

Also remember you're using high profile tires and stock offset wheels. Don't trash your F&F's till you've at least got 18's on.

I would definitely consider our XLR8 ISC coilovers. We have different spring rate options, it's a fully threaded shock body, has adjustable damping and is capable of being rebuilt right here in the US. And it's all without the bounce. PM me for further info.
