To Coat or not to coat

Gotta fix my wheels thanks to the Jersey potholes, so I'm gonna have them re-finish the lip and face. Do you think I should keep it silver or paint them black?

Why don't you coat them Noble Green with the silver lip. I think that would be hot especially if your gettin' the kit. Just a thought.

I think painting it green will be a bit too ghetto fabolous for an 18" wheel. I might get another set of wheels so who knows I might play around with these and throw some different colors on them.

sooo true, id stick with silver, i think they look clean in just silver, or a high polished silver, keep it simple and classy... You bent up 18s on the roads down there??

Like I said, just a thought. I agree with you as far as the 18's go, a 19" would be a lot better for color matching.

Yep switching lanes at 90 on one of the worse highways ( Route 78 ) and nailed a pothole, I should of known better that is the same spot I blew 2 rims last year with my CL.

DO NOT PAINT THEM. Get them powdercoated. They will withstand the worst thing you can throw at them. Paint will chip the first time you hit a pothole.
