Could some one tell me the spare tire size that comes by default with
2001 Acura TL ?

Recently I had a flat tire (my first one since I bought my car)
and was surprised to see a much smaller spare tire.
I totally forgot what it was back when I got the car. I always thought
it was a regular size (p205/60R16).

Appreciate if someone confirms. Thanks.

I believe it's a 135/70R16 but don't quote me on it. Why don't you go look at it in the trunk. It's written on the sidewall.

I just wanted to confirm if the "original" spare tire that came with a new 2001 TL
is a smaller one or a regular size. I was worried if the original one was switched
with a smaller one during one of my 2006 trip to a dealer. He tried to charge
me $540 for replacing two tires (I declined) but had to leave the car overnite
for checking some gps related issues. The dealer was not happy when I declined
his offer for replacement tires.

I just checked the spare in my '03 TL-S. It's 135/60-16 too. Never been used.

I just want to ask where can you buy a spare tire, i feel like mine has never been replaced and is old...i checked online for tire shops and they dont even sell it that small

Exactly, I also wanna replace my 13 years old one but didn't find anyone online. Is there any alternative solution?

I found one on tirerack and non of the tire shops can replace it. End up pay a honda dealer to replace it, $23 for installation and balance. Cheaper than I think.
