Ball joints shot-upper or lower
Sup folks, first post!
My '03 TLP with 58K has been diagnosed by two mechanics as having worn out front ball joints. Can some clarify if they mean the upper or lower and has this been a common issue?
Also I assume they are Accord ball joints. Acura quoted me $370 for replacement and labor and that seems steep.
Are the aftermarket adjustable camber ball joints upper or lower and are they worth a flip? I'm gonna drop it soon.
Thanks.

I bought the car out of a lease.
I was getting the rotors turned and the mechanic noticed the worn ball joints. No noticeable effect on steering or driving yet, but I don't want to put on springs with worn parts.

The aftermarket camber kits replace the upper control arm, including the upper ball joint.
I really couldn't tell you if they were talking about the upper or lower. But if it's the upper, you might as well replace with camber kits.
Why not jack it up, take off the wheel and check it for yourself?
