Anyone used Eibach Ground Control coil sleeves?
The coil sleeves are about half the price of true coil overs... Has anyone run these on a TL? I feel like if i can drop the car 3 inches for half the price of coil overs why not. The max i would go is 3'' anyway. Im just wondering how the ride is, handling etc. with the sleeves. I love how my KW's on the S5 didnt compromise the ride and made the car handle a hell of a lot better.
Any feedback would be awesome!
Thanks guys!

NOPE! Our OEM Struts and Aftermarket KYBs wont hold up to Sleeves...
Even if you get TOKICOs or TEINs as Aftermarkets to work with the Sleeves, The complete setup would be as Expensive as true Coil-overs..
Our shocks like so far the H&R Spring set (smallest drop at 1.7 front and 1.5 back) and will die fast with the serious EIBACH drop of 2.5 and 1.7.

I think that ill just run the H&R springs. I can't drop it more than probably 2.5" anyway because of speed bumps in my neighborhood.
I don't want to spend close to 1k on just coils for this car. That's 1/7 the price of the car. Where on the Audi there about 1/45 the price of the car. I also need to save up my pennies for a clutch on the Audi. Which aren't cheap.

I've been on Ground Controls and Koni Yellows for about 7 years/90,000+ miles, no issues. I think they're a little stiff but, not bad at all. Also had the H&R Sport springs on stock shocks and they're nice too, almost like stock feel with less wheel gap.

GC/Koni yellows here. I wish i would have spent more, also i didn't opt for custom spring rates, i didn't have much to work w/ when looking for susp, the shop didn't seem to give me much ideas. Some potholes are bad when hitting them. BIG BANG SOUNDS! Koni's are on max stiffness and its still not enough!!! Anyone know if changing to a stiffer spring would do any better? GL.
