Anyone have experience w/ these tires?

Hey all,

My two front Yokohamas Avid V4S XL's are wearing thin (been 4 years now!), and so was gonna get a new pair. Guy at Discount Tires near me in Los Angeles, threw out a few options:

Kumho KH16
Continental pro Contact
Michelin hydroedge.

Anyone have experience w/ these tires or recommendations for any other good ones? Just looking for good treadlife, quiet ride. I live in LA, so need for the all weather.

Haven't been to Costco yet, but online, they only selling Bridgestones.

My rear tires are the Michelins like the originals, and they are still lasting good. No wonder they so expensive!

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

i think you answered your own question

but also remember the rears won't wear as much as the front though, so do you rotate on a regular basis???

but yeah i like my bridgestone potenza 903AS though, so a good tire there too, but only put them on at the end of march, so can't comment on tread life though

after reading reviews and such, ended up getting the Hankook ventus 12s today for $95 each, mounted too. only thing i wish was treadwear was better than 280. was gonna get the conti DWS or the General UHW but the local store didn't have them. so far, so good though. noise ain't too bad.
