Aftermarket rims on a Maxima fitting on TL-S?

Okay,

So my twin friends are about to sell me a set of 17'' chrome Vault wheels for only $400 because their '02 Maxima is about to go back off the lease and I want to buy them. This may be something that has to be addressed in a Nissan forum but I have an '03 TL-S and I want to put these rims on tomorrow. They don't know if it's 17 x 7 or what and they have no clue about the offset so I can't address that. However, the tires they have on there now are 225/50/17 so the rims should match up well with my 215/50/17 stocks in terms of fitting with the tires.

Does anyone know what the proper offset would be on that generation Maxima? I know there are some Maxima owners on here so you should know, but I know the rims are universal 5-lug but I don't know if the offsets would be similar. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, the stock offset for the Maxima is +40. Definitely won't fit on our TL. But since your friend doesn't know what offset those wheels are, try mounting them to check fitment.
