8" 205/40 18 and 9" 215/40 18???

Purchasing wheels in the next day or two and wanted to see what size tire i should go with. I plan on stretching ofcourse. Im thinkin about getting yokohama sdrives since i didnt see falken f452's in a 205 but i could be wrong. So anyways the front is going to be 8 inch with a +38 offset. Was thinkin about a 205/40? The rear is a 9 inch +38 offset. Thinking about a 215/40? Let me know what you think

you dont need to go to 205 in the front, you should go 215 all around. i have 18x8 +30 on a 215 and 18x9 +25 on 225 and i dont have any rubbing.

of course im rolled and pulled in the rear, but if you are lower than i am, go with a 215 all around.

205 is . I had 18x9 +38 in the front with 225/40 and no rubbing. My rear setup took a bit of work but it was 18x10 +42 with 255/35.

Ended up going with 9.5 +30 all around with 225/40's and love it. Was a little worried about fitment but honest would have gone with a lower offset. But like everyones said its all just test and adjust to what you want. I've done plenty of that with the aggressive fitment.
