Are you lowered?

I'm on OEM Type-S shocks, (rusty) silver Comptech springs with 18x7.5" (+45 offset) Volks with 235/40/18 Toyo Proxies4 ... occasional rubbing if I'm really loaded with people in the back. If you're not lowered ... should be fit OK. Don't know if the OEM shocks may cause rubbing or not, though ...

18x7.5 ET42, 235/40/18 on my car. They rubbed like hell (lowered on Tein SS) so I had to roll the fenders and cut the bumper tabs. I still rub if I'm taking a corner hard and hit a bump by myself in the car.

Don't do it unless you're moronically dedicated like me. I just loved the wheels and was determined to make them work. But I would hate to see anyone else go through the same trouble.

For a 200 TL, try stone wheels.

It's usually best to go one size up from the stock wheels/tires, and match the overall diameter. I'm not familiar with the stock setup on the Premium model. 205/55/16, was it?? If that's right, then, I would recommend 225/45/17 for a sportier, but still comfortable, ride.

So, how did TL-S wheels and tire fit in your car? Do you have space left in the rear?
