2000 tl-p driver side wheels is not centered in the fender well.
LAST MONTH some drunk bastard ran into my car on the driver side, got the car fixed, cosmetic wise i mean the car works fine but for some reason after the body shop aligned it , that one measurement is off because the space from the front of the tire to the fender is larger than the space from the back of the tire to the fender................. went to acura, they want to charge me 125 just to put it up on the lift... nutzzzz... any advice or suggestions on what that can be? I'd appreciate the help

Id jack the car up and check the lower and upper control arms to make sure their not bent, also take a look at the frame where the lower control arm bolts up and make sure nothings tweaked... The frame may need to be pulled or replaced depending on how severe the damage is.

Hey Trinitl, if it is obviously apparent to you....then simply take it to any local shop that has a lift, have them inspect the under-carriage components as Big_Herm suggested.
Once they look things over, if they find anything which may have been previously damaged due to the accident......have them show you and get an estimate for repairs.
Take the car along with that estimate, back to the body shop who done the work.
Explain your concerns and they should make things good, if not.....then you have some critical decisions to make if you want it made right.

Sounds like either the lower subframe shifted some or the lower arm may be bent or the radius rod or bushings may be bad/bent.

If you could post some pics of the initial damage that could help us get a better idea of the potential damage. i am assuming you got hit from the left corner of the car pushing the left front wheel back. from the majority of accidents I have seen through the shop, this usually results in the following or a combination of the following...listed in order from most common to least...
-bent strut
-bent lower control arm
-ripped lower control arm bushing
-bent subframe
-bent upper strut mount
-broken/bent tie rod/tie rod end
-bent knuckle/damaged bearing
-broken rack
have the car looked at by a professional body shop OR a reputable suspension/ tire shop. they will be able to tell you what is wrong. The place you got the car fixed at did not "fix" the suspension components that were damaged during the accident. In my professional opinion they should not have missed this, but it does happen sometimes. Take it back and see what they say and post back with what you find out

If he got a cut on the insurance deal....and went with an "econo" body repair shop for only cosmetics, than it's hard to cry about things later. Any reputable shop would've never risked leaving a damaged subframe or bent up suspension parts leave the shop, especially if it was apparent to the customer. Just call the insurance adjustor !!!!

It could be the K frame (front sub frame) where the radius rod connects to it. Check to see if the part where the rod and frame connect with the bushing, is bubbled in. You can compare it to the other side. if it is you will need to replace that frame.
