Not unless you don't mind a little negative camber. If you ran a 225 tire rolled the fenders flat, and ran a some negative camber, it would work. Just most ppl don't want camber. (faster tire wear on the inside)

Can you get the wheel in a 19x8 with a 40 offset?

since this thread is already here.. how hard would it be to get these wheels to fit a 2nd gen tl?

what type of suspension would be needed? would fender rolling be a must?

dont really be one to copy but these wheels look to awesome.. lol..

i'm just wondering how hard it would be to fit these babys..

yes it would be a must. you might be able to get it tucked in with coilovers but I think you would see best results with an air bagged suspension with that kind of rim set up.

I'm wondering the same thing. Some guy from element wheels is telling me that this size will fit on my TL especially if I roll fenders in the back. I plan on running 225/35/19 tires with my set up. Is it really that bad with camber and all? He's telling me the .5 is like half the size of a pencil and wont really matter.

The Axis Hiro in the closest fitment for the 2g TL would be the 19X8.5 with a 45 offset. Roll the fenders (a must) cut tabs (a must) and run a 225/35 and you will be fine. Negative camber should not be necessary.

where would you fint these wheels with this offset tho. I did a quick search and all I could find in that size was 35 offset max.

For reference, heres how my 19x8 wih a +40 sits with rolled fenders, and a lot more than just the tabs cut.

I had 19x8.5 Volks with a 35 offset on my 2nd gen with a tiny bit of camber, but no cutting tabs and no fender rolling...it was totally dumped on coils and i never had an issue.

I find that VERY hard to believe you had that offset and no issues, and no rolling

you have pics to verify what you say cuz that wide a rim with that low of an offset is 350z territory

Thanks for posting the shots 02Type-S. I really need to be sure 19 x 8.5 with 40 offset will fit because I am ordering the MRR HR2 and they have two in the 45 offset and two in the 40 offset. Apparently the 45 offset is backordered for 2 months at the earliest and the shop is telling me the 40's will fit. I am on H&R sports which is a mild drop so i have a little more room. I plan on cutting tabs and fender rolling. What do you all think? Go for it or just wait until the 45 offset comes in?

Didn't know the GT-C was made available in those specs.

Show me the specs. And what do you consider a "tiny bit" of camber?

Go through element wheels. Ask for Robert he is very easy to deal with. Tell him to price match streetdreams.org. $340 a wheel. I just picked mine up and plan to install this weekend.

Not without cutting, rolling, and negative camber. Are you or will you be lowered?

Im sorry, dont know why i said +35, it was +39 and it was 2 pairs of GT-C's made for the front of a skyline...I got the wheels off a buddy of mine. and i guess it was a little more than a tiny bit of camber. It was dumped on apexi worldsports...the outer 1/4 of the tires didnt even touch the road in the rear. There was literally enough space to fit a couple pieces of paper in there, but i rarely had any rubbing issues.

LOL. That would be why you didn't rub. It does look sick tho.

Haha yea, i LOVED the Apexi WS's, they rode and handled amazing but that was the only thing, they caused ALOT more camber than any other coilovers ive ever seen.
