damn, that chop on my WDP looks so good, I am just starting a new wheel/tire thread with the title "Got my new Accord HFP wheels on" and then post the pic..straight frontin! LMFAO!! My new 19" wheel choice just got very narrow...it's between these, the RDX 19" Silver Sparkles or the Axis Hiros..but I really like the perfect fit the HFPs have..19x8 with 55 offset and 64.1mm hub bore...how can it get more perfect?

I don't think they will clear the calipers since the stock offset on the 3rd Gen is +45. The stock offset on our 2nd Gen is +55, so we only have to worry about adding an extra 3/4 inch on either side of our stock wheels. I am pretty sure these will not clear a 3rd Gen with Brembos w/o spacers, you may get lucky if you have non brembos, but they will look really sucked in the fenders on a 3rd Gen

yea i don't understand much about these offsets and what not, that sucks I was really looking for an OEM 19" wheel, the A-specs are 18" and i am really wanting 19s. Still i will ask her to get me prices in case anyone wants to get them, they will definitely hook her up

Look at the RDX upgrade optional wheel, it is a perfect fit for the 3rd Gen..19x8 with 45 offset. It comes in Silver Sparkle and "Chrome Look" We have a thread on that wheel going in the 2nd Gen Tires/Wheels forum..there is also a pic back on page one of this thread that shows the chrome look ones. The 19 inch RDX wheels have taken on the nickname "A-Spec on Steroids" and they may be a perfect wheel for you and they are cheap on some websites..under $200 each for a refinished set in silver sparkle..about $350 for the chrome version

the hfp shipping weight is 25lbs so the wheel itself is pretty light. i think the rdx silver sparkles are a lot heavier and bulky-looking IMO. i think it comes down to hfp vs axis, but i think the axis hiro's are a bit ricey for the TL.

(Get the HFP's )

^^25 lbs...I knew these were lighter than stocks. The box has the wheel, lugs, tpms sensor and shipping padding and of course the box, so I bet the wheels are probably around 20-21 lbs or so

not sure how they would do any good? the 2nd gen TL does not have tpms..perhaps there is some aftermarket module that may work..but I know we don't have an oem tpms in our cars

yes, I am going with the HFPs...I think I will be ordering them this week..I'm on the fence about the timing..since these are new wheels, places like finishlinewheels.com and other places that sell reconditioned OEM wheels will get these eventually..but, online these are selling for around $1350 shipped..about $335 a wheel! But, they are lightweight, factory perfect fit and all that good stuff. Plus, I sold my Zenetti's today, so I won't be coming much extra out of pocket...either way, $1350 is $1350 whether or not I have cash from my sale today. Plus, I got to dish out another $600 for tires..but I may just get the wheels first, then get the tires later on

I may go to the 452's..but I may look to an all season...with this offset, def going with 235..i had those on my 45 offset Zenettis and those only rubbed before i trimmed my fender tabs..with this offset, I should be plenty good...now, the million dollar question..is the hub bore size of a 2008 Accord the same as my 2nd Gen TL...my guess is that it is 64.1mm..but I can't find that info anywhere

More than likely 64.1 cuz the accord's have had 64.1mm hub bore since the 1990 model.

do u have your fender's rolled? or just tabs cut? with 19" wheels and 235's, won't it rub w/o rolled fenders? or will the +55 offset be a snug fit?

there should be plenty of clearance...i only rubbed on the urethane portion near the fender tab area...my fenders are rolled but I didn't have to do that..with this wheel, the tires and wheel will be tucked in appx 0.3" (10mm) away from that area and I have at least 1.5" to the strut tower on the inside...should be no issue. Plus, the Falkens have a rounded shoulder that gives a bit more clearance than other brands. I may just buy one and test fit first, because I would be mostly worried about inner clearance. the new wheel is only 3/4" wider on each side than stock but I get that extra 0.3" room with the 55 vs 45 offset I had before

Just ordered the HFPs!! Got one already on hand!!

Alright y'all, I pulled the trigger on these bad boys today!! Got a smoking deal on them from a local Honda dealership..out the door for $1323.00 for four wheels, center caps and TPMS sensors. I just wanted to see these in person at the only dealership that had them, and he ended up cutting me a deal on the spot! I can't believe they matched the price, actually beat the out the door price that Ebay has!!

Anyway, getting some tires soon..they had one in stock and the other three are on the way, so here are some pics...I did not mount the "H" part of the center cap, so thats why it has those two little holes where the rivets go. On the newer center caps, you put them together. I plan to use my new design chrome look "A" caps from my OEM chromies.

Specs:
Part # 08W19-TE0-100 Honda Factory Performance Wheels
Size: 19x8
Offset: 55 Offset
Comes with TPMS sensors (doesn't help me, 2nd Gen TLs don't have TPMS )
Newer design Center cap with "H" Emblem that stays tight
Weight: Unofficial bathroom scale shows just under 25 lbs

A VERY CRUDE CELL PIC PREVIEW BUT I THINK THEY WILL LOOK GREAT ON MY WDP. Helet me take it outside to see how it would look against the paint.

Ok, had to do some test fitting because I had concerns about inner clearance. On the front, I have about 1/4 inch clearance between the inner spokes and front caliper. On the inner part of wheel, I have maybe a 1/8 - 1/4 inch clearance to the front suspension control arm. It appears the control arm stays pretty much in line during suspension travel, so I think I need to go with the Falken Azenis ST115 tires since they have a very rounded shoulder and I know they don't stick past the wheel edge hardly at all.

On the rear, I have a two finger wide clearance to the strut tower and over an 1.5 inch clearance to the rear caliper..so no issues in the back..

The wheels seem to sit just inside the fenders front and back.

Here are some pics, I know I know, I have to get the rubberized undercoat spray back in my fender lining..I know

Hard to see on this pic of the front control arm, but it is pretty close but still a little room.

As you can see, two fingers clearance to rear strut tower, I should be good

Great news y'all! The test fit was a success with about 1/4 inch to spare on the front control arm. They mounted a 235/35/19 tire (the exact overall diameter of the stock 17" wheel/tire combo) on the new wheel front and back. They drove around to make sure nothing was rubbing, so I got 4 General Exclaim UHP tires coming in sometime this week. Based on the manager's feedback and others here on AZ on these tires, I decided to go with these. The manager said for the price (one of the cheapest) and the quality of tire, you can't go wrong.

Here are some pics I got with my cell phone, I promise to put up better pics when it is all cleaned up. The pics don't do the wheels justice, they really look nice in person..got plenty of good comments with just one wheel on while they were driving around lol! I can't wait.

By the way, the wheel/tire sits perfect in the fenders..on the front, just about to the edge of the fender, but tucked just enough to not stick out. On the rear, same thing, plenty of clearance to avoid fender/bumper tab area rubbing and they do not have the "sucked in" look. For those of you with a 3rd Gen, I am not sure these will fit your cars because of the 55 offset, I really think you may hit your calipers on a 3rd gen, so be sure to just buy one and test fit!! Plus I think they will really look sucked in.

Enjoy the pics, they come with center caps but they were left off during the test fit. I plan to use the chrome look new style "A" caps I have now..they'll look good with the chrome lugs I think.

View of front wheel looking down to show where the tire/wheel sits

The car was barely lowered on the jack, so there is less gap than this normally on the rear

Exactly the look I wanted!! No rear tire sticking out!!

congrats CJITTY!!!

Omg that's definitely one of my favorite rims on a TL. Looks like it would fit right in on the streets of tokyo, of course with JDM emblems :P

are u thinking of blacking out your headlight housing? or maybe front and rear slotted rotors?

btw are those tires inflated all the way? for some reason the sidewalls look concave. maybe its just me, but they look freshhh. btw how much were the UHP's? like 210 each?

Nope, leaving the headlights alone. I have ebc slotted rotors up front and have the rears, just haven't installed them yet. I'm on HR Sport springs and I got the General UHP tires for $155 each at discount tire. the tire in the pic was a 235/35/19 Nitto just for test fit. the tire had 35lbs psi
