19 Inch HFP Wheels

HFP (Honda Factory Performance) is now offering a 19 inch wheel!! I kinda like them. They come in 18s as well. I wonder how they would look on a 2g TL?

dude those are nice...but why would you put oem's on a tl when you could just go after market for a lot cheaper...but im sure that would look nice if your car was black and dropped.

No, I wasn't thinking about getting them I'm not about to give up 19'' TSWs for Honda wheels, but I think they would look good since they are 19s. They would look sexy on WDP.

Because OEM is better quality and might not bend when you hit a pothole.

i've seen sequoia rims bend beyond repair.... so yes they still do bend... and that's on a HIGH profile tire

anyways they will still bend, they are cast and oem rims are made by bbs, enkei, etc....

i believe honda/acura rims are made by enkei and cast

so oem quality is as good as aftermarket... as long as you're going with reputable rim companies

ok, I am bringing this thread back to life. I am starting to narrow down my choices for my new 19" wheels..i am seriously considering the RDX 19x8 wheels with 45 offset aka A-specs on steriods in the silver sparkle or these 19x8 with 55 offset HFP Accord wheels. I know the rdx wheels would clear my caliper on my 2nd gen tl type s, but I assume the HFPs will be a perfect fit for our 2nd gen and clear calipers also. has anyone done these HFPs on a wdp with a drop..if anyone can chime in with pics or just your thoughts, let me know. I really like the 55 offset for perfect fitment, but I'm not 100 pct feeling the thin spokes and also wondering how the darker color would look. I wish these had a lip, but I want oem fit. I don't have Ron Jon money, although if they made the Inspyres with a stainless lip, i'd be all over it and save up for that

Those wheels are nice. You should drop the car a little. Not slammed, but just enough.

Well here's what the 19" Accord HFP's would look like on a AM with a lip kit and drop.

(i took the picture from the AM picture thread. member duy's TL, not mine)

Not bad. even though the spokes are skinny, there's 10 of them so it doesn't look TOO hollow. slotted rotors and aftermarket calipers would make it look rly nice.
