thas what ive been wondering for years after you guys said 50 is nuts already. and that pic was with tein SS, i know with air ride its a whole nother story but in that pic, im still on coilovers...

arTLS you'll be good with that size, probs wanna roll fenders in the rear for extra clearance, but the eibach pro kit doesnt sit that low so you MAY make it. wouldnt 100% bank on that tho.
also with those wheels, go lower than the pro kit !
finally, tire size is key too.... dont forget

Thats why i question those that say you can run a +38, because i know for a fact mine (and others) cant?? Some of these cars (02-03?) may have slightly wider front fenders?

i was talkin to you fattyms1 are you lowered because i have a 00 tl and without the car lowered the wheels in the front tilt out slightly at the top of the wheel closest to the fender bottom. i only think these offsets will work if you have a pretty low drop

In this pic the fronts are rubbing but tucked in the wheel well. The rears with almost -1 camber dont rub after trimming the tabs (and the tires hit the fender lip and bent it up so they no longer rub. partly due to me having a 235/40 on it)

nice ride man, i ment fsttyms1 my bad no disrespect. you should def post up more pics of the ride maybe there is a diff between the 99-01 and 02-03 year models with the fender width idk. but i swear there are guys with lower offsets with 99-01's. do dont have your fenders rolled tho do you? cause it was def. discussed that you would need a roll possibly a pull with those aggressive offsets, and i know u like to keep it unrolled if i remember correctly

i wasnt saying your offset is agressive just saying that it would be poss to get more agressive with rolled fenders and less beefy tires. but idk maybe there is a diff in fender width.

my personal opinion with our cars from what i have learned:
when i first came onto the site nobody dared recommend a wheel with anything less than a +45 offset. if somebody asked if a +43 would work, people would say NNOOOOO you need +45 or more. well i cant tell the difference between 2mms very close, i imagine its alittle bigger than a pubic hair lol. anways, as i began to explore wheel fitments i learned the key ingredients to a great setup, that is also daily driven. First of all, if you want an aggresive setup dont even think about it unless you are riding on air OR have a NICE set of coilovers. This way you can adjust the damper to stiff so that you arnt getting much travel in the wheel well. Then I would have to say camber plays a great role. Make sure toe is in check and you will be fine. Sure you will have camber wear with a more agressive alignment, but small potatoes in my opinion to make your car look wider and meaner. Once youve got these 2 things you shop for your wheels. You try and figure out how much camber you really want and how low you plan on driving. Once you find a comfortable spot for you then youve found ur perfect setup. Make sure and run a stretched tired and call it a day. I personally DD 3 inches off the ground with a 19x9 +43 19x9 +30. about -3.5 camber in the rear. So for all of you that are confused and flustered at the wheel fitment puzzles, just think about your overall goal and what you want. Take a look at model fitments like lippstuf, III, pgrosttz, and myself. IT CAN BE DONE!!

The car is a daily driven 50k + a year and i dont want the suspension to be rock hard. I will be upgrading to better shocks (koni yellow). I wont run coilovers (too many problems in the past with them due to driving and weather)
Oh and i can do the same as you, i can go to the trunk and push down (and i have actually dented the rear 1/4 pushing on it) and it doesn't move.

Im NOT complaining OR blaming the tires. What i was trying to point out is that WITH a +38 on my car it would be undriveable because the rim/tire stuck outside of the fender. The point is is that the tire is far enough out to come into contact with the fender.
The car is a daily driven 50k + a year and i dont want the suspension to be rock hard. I will be upgrading to better shocks (koni yellow). I wont run coilovers (too many problems in the past with them due to driving and weather)
