Oh yeah and how would I find out what size tire fits what size rim? Cause I know a rim can be 18 inches but be an 8 or a 9. Which number in the tire determines the 8 or the 9? The 200 number?

18x8 will fit as long as the offset is high enough. You may as well forget about the 9".
Check here to see what others have on their rides.
Why the staggered set?

Oh yeah they'll fix it alright but at the cost of hacking metal off your fender to make them fit?!?!
Wonder why there is only 1 person with 9" wheels huh.

i know him and have seen the car. he has 9s with a 55 offset, but the tires are 235 i think. pretty tight fit but i don't believe his rear metal fender lips are shaved. but if you are sticking with narrower tires like 225 and 235, both will also fit nicely on 8s and this width will make finding proper offsets much easier.

I couldn't help it but ... you don't need two different sizes... you're just wasting cash for one... every time you need a new tire you'll have to buy 2 of one size... and 2 of the other size which is usually more expensive... Get the 18x9 in the front... and the 18x8 in the back... makes more sence... if not, go 18x8 all around...

Just thought i'd help with my opinion...
