alright.. so i decided to put back my stock airbox and intake resonator back on.. but i totally forgot what even existed in between the airbox and the intake resonator.. there are two big holes in the intake resonator box but i don't remember if there were two pipes that go into it.. but i sure remember there was no gap in between (like i have now).. tried looking for a missing piece but couldn't find it.

anyways.. here are two additional pieces that i cant seem to figure out where it connects to..

help would be greatly appreciated! im kinda looking for a chart that shows what parts go where..

the small Y connector piece, and the long mounting bolt

Why put it on?--removed doesnt affect the car in a negative way- wont hurt inspection for smog etc

well ive always thought that having the intake resonator removed would cause the air filter to get dirty easier/faster. i currently have a new k&n air filter installed so thats why. do you have a pic of the y connector? i think i somehow lost it. =/

with the K&N you dont care about it getting dirty-
when it happens you use the cleaner and re-oil kit for 10 bucks--
note the kit will service 5 filters

on average you clean every 50kmiles but reality says every year or 2 keeps it tip top performance

the removed intake resonator provides extra air from the inner fender area where its being `stored` until needed thru intake holes in bottem of filter box
