when i turn i hear a noise...
hey
this noise started yesterday. when i make a left turn i hear something on my passenger front end go pop pop pop. then when the wheel turns back to straight there is no noise. and no noise when im turning right. only happens when i turn left.
what could this be? lower control arm?
thanks

Inside of the endlink there was no more oil - on the outside all was good.

Got_3.2?,
Sounds pretty much like the classic bad outer CV joint. If you turn the steeing wheel full lock right you can get a look at the boot (looks like a rubber bellow) at the center, inside of the wheel. It is likely torn, has leaked grease and damaged the joint. The easiest repair is to replace the complete 1/2 shaft with a remanufactured unit. The CV joint can be replaced but the effort to remove the shaft, disassemble and repair the joint then reinstall is usually more than a complete lifetime warranted 1/2 shaft assembly.
