Anyone know anything about or have this problem? My trunk isnt opening with the key fob or the button the the driver side door, I checked the lock in the glove compartment and its not on. And just to get it diagnosed is 103 bucks. Another thing is that dunno if my navigation system is messed up or just my dvd. sometimes it'll read the dvd and sometimes it'll just say wrong dvd or unformatted. When it does recognize it, ill push a button then itll freeze up on me. If anyone has had these probs or might know a fix, It'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

In case you didn't know, I think you can open the trunk by grabbing the cable through the back seat pass-through opening.

On the nav system, have you checked the surface condition of the nav data DVD?

I have the DVD based Navi and sometimes when its hot outside it gives me the same formatted disc type error. It usually rectifies itself if i turn the car off then on again.

As for the trunk prob. My keyfob only opens the trunk if i hold down the trunk button, and even then its a little touchy sometimes. I just assume its wear and tear on the remote since my buttons are worn off.

 

Yeah, know bout the latch to open the trunk, guess its just broken then. But the navi dvd isnt that bad, it has some lite scratches on it. Ill just replace both. Thanks for the input.
