Suddently loose all electrical power

I have 99 Acura TL, 135k miles.
Recently the car suddently loose all power, the engine completely off while driving. So far, it only happens when I im in slow speed, and engine cut off for about 2 seconds then it on again.
One time, it off when I am on the road at about 30 MPH then I have to shift it back to N then start the engine up to continues... very dangerous.

is there any recall on this? how to fix this dammmm issue? thanks

99s have a recall on the ignition switch -the back electrical part of it
call your dealer or acura 1-800 382-2238 x5 with cars VIN
they can tell you if its been replaced under recall'

acura only covers it once- then when it fails again.. its on you
part is about 50 bucks from parts stores everywhere
see DIY/Garage section for help

Thanks both for the info.
I called Acura and the rep told car has done that ignition switch, the recall back in 2002.

Rep also told me to bring to Acura dealer, check it out, if the problem is from the ignition switch, then call her back, she will then talk to case manager to see if they can replace it for free. So bring to the dealer to check it out will cost around $100...not worth it right? just buy $50 part and DYI ?

I would spend $50 and CALL it tuition fee. The knowledge and confidence you drum up during this process is invaluable.
If the car gets fixed in the process that is your BONUS.
