Substituting engine mounts

I just ordered a set of front and rear motor mounts for my 2000 TL and when it arrived at the door, there was a note on it saying they had damaged the package. Sure enough when I opened it up the front mount had cracked at the rubber and was leaking fluid everywhere. Only the rear mount was good and still intact.
Currently on my car, the rear mount is still new. I really only needed to replace the front. So my question is, is it possible to use the good rear mount i just got and put it in place of the front mount?
