Speedometer needle below pin (see pic)

My son’s car has the speedometer pin that is on the wrong side of the pin so there is no speed being registered. All other gauges are good. Anyone else have this problem? .

The blower just recently went bad (no heat / air) so he just replaced that last week and now we have this issue. Any thoughts if these two items could be related? Is there a way to reset or calibrate speedometer? I have seen for other cars but not TL.

I don't think it's that hard to take out the cluster on the 2G TL, you could always remove the cluster and get the needle back above the pin. I've seen something similar on a 2000 accord after the battery died and it was jumped.

Thanks for both suggestions. He tried the magnet trick and it is back on the right side of the pin. Let’s see if we have any additional issues. Thanks again!
