Replaced Upstream o2 sensor gas mileage not great

I replaced my upstream o2 sensor and its looks like I have lost about 5 miles per gallon on my gas mileage. I was thinking that since I haven't replaced the downstream sensor maybe that is the reason. The downstream sensor isn't bad yet but maybe mixing a new one with an old might be the issue. Please help…

Did you replace it with the OEM o2 sensor brand (Denso). If I remember right any other brand, especially Bosch do not play well in our cars, this is from personal experience.

You never know what the effect will be. That's why it's best to always stick with OEM for critical components.
I hope you reset the ecm after the new O2 sensor install.
