Rear passenger door lock sticking

I have a 02 TL-S and the rear passenger door lock isn't working correctly. Sometimes it will lock/unlock and sometimes it won't. Anyone know what it could be, or what I should check? Also, could someone give detailed steps on how to remove the door panel to get to it, or maybe suggest a good repair manual I could buy that isn't difficult to understand? Thanks!

The factory service manual has been floating around in a download version.
Use the "Search" feature to locate it.

Mine does this too, probably just the lock actuator going out.
IIRC, common on this generation TL/Accord.
My sister's '01 Accord EX had 2 that went out as well.

They're pretty cheap, I think ~20-30 on rockauto.

Take the affected door panel off the interior for a better look. Oftentimes with the age of our cars.......the locking mechanism and rods need lubed. Worth a try !
