So as you can guess by my name, I own an 03 TL Type S, I bought it a few months ago with 150K miles, it's currently at 160K miles (10k miles in 6 months, can anyone beat that?) and probably way too late for hondacura to fix this problem free, but is my transmission failing? So sometimes when I'm driving, the car will shift into nuetral by itself, when this happens, I just put on my Hazard lights, come to a complete stop, put it in park, then put it back in Drive and it usually drives well again, this happens about once a day. Will I need a new transmission? will this get worse? Can someone who's had a transmission problem with the 3.2TL (probably everyone who's had a 99-03 TL) tell me what happened to them, and how they solved it? I'll be honest, I don't want to shell out an arm and a leg to fix it, and if that's the case, I'll just sell it before it gets worse, and hopefully get a 6MT CL-S or something else.

Read the countless amount of posts about this issue. You have to try to not find anything on it.
You need to either rebuild your trans with an upgraded kit. Or get a transmission from an AV6 Accord.
The transmissions in these cars fail 100% of the time. Only time will say when that happens.

10k miles in 6 months is pretty good amount but nothing crazy.. Try 25k in that time.
For your trans, as mentioned by music level above, there are countless posts. Your description sounds like it is most definitely a failing trans. Pull the code and report back. Likely a torque conv code

Yea another one. Have you done the basics like checking the fluid level ?
Engine warmed up and off.
